This summer the Bryan Boys threw their first annual Lego party. We sent out invites that told the kids to come to our pool party with a Lego creation to share with everyone. There were some cool creations set up on the dining room table for everyone to admire. We made sure to put name tags on them so that the artist received credit for all the hard work. After swimming and awards, we had a Lego cake and ice cream. Below are some pix of the Bryan Boy's talent- sorry I don't have more of other creations. I got my camera out a little late.

I Dare You....

I guess this is what I get when I dare the boys to jump into the pool with their clothes on. Just to make it more interesting, they went in with style using Keaton's bike. Nice air guitar, Ethan.

Keaton probably figured that he needed to do something a bit more daring to get some attention. Cute little bootie.

BMX Boy

There is a great park near my Mom's house that has a playground, a skate park, and a BMX dirt bike track. We spent several mornings bouncing around these places as Keaton wanted to swing, Blake wanted to ride his scooter at the skate park, and Ethan wanted to ride his bike on the hills. I took both boys mountain biking one morning and Blake decided he didn't like it as well as Ethan. The next morning Ethan and I went out alone and played on Dog Hill. It was fun and it was a good reminder to me that some of those hills are scarier than they look when you are the one trying to go down! (I'm usually the one telling the boys to just go down the hill- it's not that bad. This time I got a piece of my own medicine as Ethan was taunting me!)

Good Times in Utah- Summer 2008

We had a great time in Utah this summer. After the 4th of July I stayed there with the boys and we went to Price for a visit. We were spoiled r-o-t-t-e-n by grams and gramps Bailey. Everything from yummy meals to finished laundry to sleeping in and still getting to workout...it was nice. The weather was fun. We'd spend most of the morning at the park, skate park, BMX park and hills. Then in the late afternoon we'd go in the backyard and play croquet, baseball, etc. Yeah for being outside!

I took the boys to the Desert Wave Pool in Price. They had so much fun the first day that we went back for more the next afternoon. Ethan was a bit too daring for my liking. I had to watch from the shallow because Keaton didn't love the waves but he would get in while the waves were resting. I had to pry them away from there just to go home for dinner!

A trip to Price isn't complete without a trip out on the four-wheeler. G and G Bailey live at the base of some great foothills that we grew up climbing around on. It is named Dog Hill (has a dog shaped face). Grandpa took all the boys on their own trips. Ethan and Blake came back with some tall tales that ended up being true. Grandpa was pretty daring, I guess. We spent more time on Dog Hill mountain biking and it was fun to tell them the names of the trials and caves we used to explore.

Thanks for the fun!
